Fall under the spell of a fairy tale classic. The malevolent Fairy Carabosse curses Princess Aurora to 100 years' slumber, by a single prick of her finger on her 16th birthday. Doomed by fate, only a Prince's true love kiss can break the spell and awaken the sleeping beauty of Aurora. This classic ballet, composed by Pytor Tchiakovsky, appeals to audiences of all ages and is captivating to behold. Colorado West Performing Arts Company dancers will take the stage in their dazzling tutus and tiaras showing their beauty, grace and athleticism along with supporting roles of local children dancers to bring this fairy tale to life at our historic Avalon theatre here in Grand Junction Colorado October 27-29.
